Boys Card

Two cards in a week, will wonders never cease... but I'm determined to kick nausea in the rear and get back to doing some crafting at least a few times a week, even if I can't work up to where I was at before.

Today we have a boys birthday card, using an image from pollycraft, coloured with promarkers: cinnamon, cocoa, blush, soft peach, warm grey 1, warm grey 2, slate, poppy, berry red, crimson and black.

The papers are all from my scraps box - in fact, except for cutting the card base I didn't use anything 'new' - and I used stickers for the sentiment.

I left it otherwise completely embellishment free, which is novel for me!

I'm submitting this for:
- Cards in Envy - Sketch #4
- Creative Creations #10 - For a Child
- Craft Your Passion #162 - Child's Play
- Oh La La Challenge Blog - Seeing Red
- Clear it Out Challenge - Anything Goes + Use two or more patterned papers

Birthday Card

Yes, I still lives! Just about! Stupid nausea is still plaguing me constantly and there is so much stress going on with other things right now, I might just implode, but for now, I is still alive and I really miss crafting, but it's just finding a time when I'm marginally less nauseous than the rest of the time and have nothing more pressing to do...!

Got this card made today, for a few challenges, I used:

Promarkers: pear green, marsh green, olive green, sandstone, caramel, cinnamon, cool grey 3, cool grey 4, warm grey 1, warm grey 2, black, honeycomb, gold and rose pink.

Papers: New Leaf paper pack. Card: Papermill Direct

Embellishments: Pearls from Anita's

I'm submitting this card for:

- Cupcake Craft Challenge #242 - Lots of Layers

I'm Alive...!

Honest, I am...! Although I'm not sure about my crafting mojo... (as this card might well attest, lol!)

I'm still having health issues - and family issues, but those are a whole other story - but I finally managed to drag myself to my craft desk today to make a card.

This is actually for a friend who's birthday is next month, but since I don't know how I'm going to feel from one day to the next, I thought I'd get it done while I was feeling well enough.

I used an image from digi darla and a computer generated sentiment. The image is coloured with promarkers: Black, cool grey 3, cool grey 4, warm grey 1, warm grey 2, cinnamon, honeycomb, spice, ruby, pine, sandstone, caramel, terracotta, mustard, gold, blush and pastel pink.

The paper is from papermania's bookprint pack, layered on black card. I added another computer generated sentiment inside and a stamp inside from stampin' up coloured with warm grey 1, warm grey 2 and pastel pink and embellished with gems.

I am submitting to the following challenges:
- Craft Room Challenge - In the Library
- Sketch N Stash #111 - Sketch
- Stamp With Fun #206 - Birthday
- Created With Love #36 - Recipe: 1 Image, 2 Design Papers, 2 Embellishments

Pink and White

PSST - LAST CHANCE FOR BLOG CANDY!

Am feeling somewhat improved, but still too much activity tends to send me back peddling, so I think I'll be taking it easy for a few days yet... still, I was able to get one card done today at least.

I'm not, I confess entirely happy with it. Something is... missing, or well, I don't know really something just doesn't work for me, but I'm not sure what, or why...

I used a generic white card base and stampin' up pink pirouette to layer. The DP is from jillibean soup – homemade 6 bean soup and the image is from pollycraft, coloured with my promarkers: honeycomb, spice, terracotta, blush, vanilla, coral, pastel pink, soft pink, rose pink, dusky rose, cerise, and pear green. I used a mft fishtale banner die to cut the image and the script embossing folder for the background panel. Adding a little twine and some gems for embellishments. The sentiment is from stampin' up.

I'm submitting this for:
- Digital Tuesday Challenge #198 - Pink and white
- Paper Crafting Journey - Bingo (Gems, Embossing, Ribbon/Twine)
- CAS(E) this Sketch! #16 - Sketch

Alles Liebe zum Vatertag

PSST - I HAVE BLOG CANDY!

Still feeling so very ill, but I was so very tired of sitting still that I just had to get something constructive done... so this is a card for a friend's dad for fathers day.

I used a mix of papers that were sent to me by a friend a few years ago so I'm not sure of all the sources, one of them was the paper shelter... and I layered it on navy blue card from papermill direct.

The image is from pollycraft, coloured with my promarkers: cinnamon, caramel, sandstone, ruby, poppy, cornflower blue, denim blue, cool grey 3, warm grey 2 and warm grey 1.

I cut two stars in from some of the DP and used some twine and a computer generated sentiment.

I'm submitting this card for:
- Digi Darla's Challenge #50 - Food for Thought
- Seems a Little Sketch #33 - Sketch
- Digi Makeover Challenge #76 - Anything Goes
- Craftroom Challenge - Something For A Man
- Stampavie and More #187 - Lots of Layers

Card Crafter's Circle #63 - Teddybears on Parade

This week at Card Crafter's Circle our theme is:

Teddybears

We're sponsored by the fabulous StampArt Design by Kathryne, who is generously offering 4 of her fabulous digi stamps to our winner - and she has a wonderful selection to choose from!

Kathryne was also generous enough to let the DT play with some of her images and I was lucky enough to get this adorably little guy - Little Bear Watering Can Friend - to work with this week.

Isn't he just the cutest thing? And, as a bonus, he comes with that fab sentiment!

I coloured the delightful little bear, with my promarkers: cinnamon, caramel, sandstone, pear green, marsh green, olive green, duck egg, pastel blue and khaki.

The papers from from the New Leaf paper Pack by Mindy Terasawa, layered on brown card from papermill direct. I embellished simply with twine and pearls.

Don't forget to drop over to Card Crafter's Circle to submit your entry and see the fabulous cards made by the other DT ladies!
